A. Farmland Dairies™ Special Request™ 1% Low Fat Milk with Omega-3 is ultra pasteurized -- this process keeps the milk fresh longer while unopened, under proper refrigeration. Once opened, it should be used within five - seven days. The date on the carton is NOT an expiration date, but a sell-by date.

Q. What is lactose intolerance?
A. Lactose intolerance is the inability to digest lactose, the predominant complex sugar of milk. Lactose is made up of two simple sugars, glucose and galactose.
