Farmland milk is delicious 100% real milk produced from cows not treated with rBST.

Farmland Dairies farmers have pledged in writing that they will provide raw milk to Farmland from cows that are not treated with rBST. rBST (recombinant Bovine Somatotropin) is a genetically engineered growth hormone. When administered to dairy cows, rBST artificially increases their milk production. This artificial stimulation at times could cause an inflammation and infection that could prompt the use of antibiotics. Farmland operates under the belief that milk and milk products should be as wholesome and pure as possible. Although the FDA has found no significant difference between milk derived from rBST treated cows and those not treated, many consumers have expressed concern about the possible long term effects. We at Farmland take this concern very seriously and as such do not use milk that is treated with rBST.

We still understand to this day that mothers would prefer not to give their children milk treated with rBST. We still understand that most consumers, when given a choice, prefer milk as close to what nature intended as possible. Farmland is the leader in providing milk which is not produced from cows treated with rBST. Farmland has developed a program with its dairy farmers to produce milk with no added rBST, exclusively for Farmland's production because we care enough about our customers to give them the highest quality products possible. Farmland milk is not only rBST free but it is also produced in a facility that has been certified by the FDA for Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point System manufacturing (HACCP). Our dairy plant is one of only eight in the entire U.S. to achieve this certification. This certification means we go further to ensure that our milk products are the safest, and highest quality products for our loyal customers and consumers.
